One year ago today on my birthday, I launched Breeches and Sweats, and what a year it has been! I can't thank you all enough for your constant love and support, it means so so much to me.

Since it has been 1 year, I wanted to reintroduce myself to some of the newcomers.

Hi! I'm Liv, the creator and writer behind Breeches and Sweats. I'm 17 (today!!) and am a junior in high school. I compete on A/AA circuit in the 3'3" junior equitation and hunters aboard my horse, Lux. I'm also training my horse, JT, who will be (hopefully) moving up to the junior hunters this year.

During study halls and breaks, I always wanted to read or watch something equestrian-related, however, there was never any consistent blog or YouTube that related to me. With that, Breeches and Sweats was born. Breeches and Sweats has truly opened up a whole new world for me. From starting with just written blog posts, to interviewing top equestrians, constructing my own YouTube channel, and creating my own merchandise line, all of my dreams have come true. Over the past year, I have had the opportunity to share everything, like the struggles of training a green horse, welcoming my dream horse to our family, and balancing school and riding, with my Breeches and Sweats community. I have met so many new people along the way and am so grateful for you all.
